Underground Fibre (OFC) Laying
Direct burial, trenching and HDD — laid to survive the road above it.

What this service is
In plain terms.
Underground fibre work is the physical layer beneath every broadband and mobile network. Cable is placed below ground by one of three methods — direct burial at depth, open trenching with protective conduit or innerduct, or horizontal directional drilling to pass beneath roads, canals and other obstacles without cutting them. What separates a good OFC contractor from a cheap one is route documentation, correct depth and protection, and clean splice loss figures at handover.
Scope of work
What a standard engagement includes. Anything outside this is quoted separately and agreed in writing before it is executed.
How we execute it
From enquiry to handover.
Six defined stages. You always know which one you are in and what closes it.
Route survey
The proposed route is walked, obstacles identified, and crossing methods decided before a single metre is quoted.
Permissions
We coordinate right-of-way and municipal permission documentation with the concerned authority.
Excavation
Trenching or HDD proceeds with barricading, marking and traffic-safety measures in place.
Cable placement
Duct laid, cable blown or pulled, and warning tape and route markers positioned to design.
Splicing & testing
Fusion splicing followed by OTDR traces and power measurements on every fibre.
Reinstatement & handover
Surface reinstated to the authority's standard; route map, splice records and test reports handed over.

Questions buyers actually ask.
Answered directly, including where the honest answer is a qualification rather than a yes.
Wherever cutting the surface is unacceptable or impractical — road and highway crossings, canal and drain crossings, developed footpaths, and locations where reinstatement cost or permission difficulty exceeds the drilling cost.
