Garden & Landscape Development

Landscape Design & Garden Development

Concept to fully grown garden — designed, built and handed over alive.

Newly developed corporate campus landscape at golden hour — curved lawn, flowering borders, stone pathway, palms and a small water feature, MGP horticulture team in the background.

What this service is

In plain terms.

Garden development is the conversion of bare or neglected land into a living, designed landscape. It begins with a reading of the site — soil, slope, sun path, wind, drainage, water availability and how people will actually move through the space — and ends with an established garden that survives its first monsoon and its first summer. Between those two points sit the master plan, earthwork and grading, soil amendment, plantation, lawns, hardscape, water features, landscape lighting and the irrigation that keeps all of it alive. What separates a real landscape contractor from a nursery supplier is that the garden is still thriving a year after handover.

Scope of work

What a standard engagement includes. Anything outside this is quoted separately and agreed in writing before it is executed.

Site analysis — soil testing, slope, sun path, drainage and water audit
Landscape master plan, 2D layout, 3D visualisation and planting schedule
Earthwork, grading, contouring, mounds and drainage correction
Soil amendment — red soil, compost, cocopeat and organic manure beds
Softscape — specimen trees, palms, shrubs, hedges, ground cover and seasonal flowers
Hardscape — pathways, pergolas, gazebos, seating, edging, stone and paver work
Water features — fountains, ponds, cascades and reflecting pools
Landscape lighting — bollards, uplighters, path lights and feature lighting
Theme gardens — Japanese, Mughal, butterfly, herbal, sensory and children's play gardens
Establishment care through the first season and a documented handover

Enquire about this service

An engineer who works on this specific service will call you back.

We use your details only to respond to this enquiry. We never sell or share them.

How we execute it

From enquiry to handover.

Six defined stages. You always know which one you are in and what closes it.

01

Discovery & site reading

We walk the site with you, test soil pH and texture, map sun and shade, check water source and quality, and record how the space is used — before a single plant is proposed.

02

Concept & master plan

A zoned master plan with 2D layout and 3D views: entry statement, lawns, shade belts, activity areas, hardscape and water. Two concept options, then one refined plan.

03

BOQ & costed plan

Every plant by species, size and quantity; every hardscape item by area; irrigation and lighting by point. A line-item BOQ with no lump-sum guesswork.

04

Ground preparation

Debris removal, grading, drainage correction and soil amendment — the invisible 40% of the work that decides whether the garden lives.

05

Build — hard then soft

Hardscape, irrigation mains and lighting conduits go in first; then trees, shrubs, ground cover and lawns, in the right planting season.

06

Establishment & handover

Intensive care through the establishment period, plant replacement for failures, and a handover file with as-built layout, plant list, irrigation plan and maintenance calendar.

Before you commit

Questions buyers actually ask.

Answered directly, including where the honest answer is a qualification rather than a yes.

Both. We can take your architect's landscape drawing and execute it to specification, or produce the master plan, 3D views and planting schedule ourselves. Design and build under one contract removes the most common failure — a beautiful drawing that the site's soil and water cannot support.
