Transformer Substation & Transmission
Substations erected, tested and energised under licence.

What this service is
In plain terms.
A transformer substation is where incoming high-tension supply is stepped down and distributed. Its erection involves the transformer itself, the HT and LT switchgear either side of it, protection and metering, the earthing mat that keeps step and touch potentials safe, and the civil works that support all of it. Commissioning — not installation — is where the real expertise shows.
Scope of work
What a standard engagement includes. Anything outside this is quoted separately and agreed in writing before it is executed.
How we execute it
From enquiry to handover.
Six defined stages. You always know which one you are in and what closes it.
Design & layout
Substation layout, clearances, SLD and protection scheme finalised with your consultant.
Civil readiness
Plinth, oil soak pit, cable trenches and boundary works completed — by our own civil team where required.
Erection
Transformer placed, switchgear installed and control wiring completed to drawing.
Earthing
Earth mat installed and earth resistance measured to the specified value before energisation.
Pre-commissioning
Oil test, insulation resistance, transformer ratio, relay settings and interlock verification.
Charging
Statutory clearance obtained, and the substation charged in a controlled, documented sequence.

Before you commit
Questions buyers actually ask.
Answered directly, including where the honest answer is a qualification rather than a yes.
Yes. Plinth, oil soak pit, cable trenches, control room and boundary wall are executed by our own civil team, which removes the usual scheduling conflict between the civil and electrical contractors.
