What this service is
In plain terms.
A solar power plant converts sunlight to electricity, but its financial return depends on the parts nobody photographs: the mounting structure's wind resistance, string design, cable sizing and voltage drop, earthing and lightning protection, and the evacuation arrangement into your existing network. MGP installs the plant and, because we hold the electrical contractor licence, we also handle the HT side that connects it.
Scope of work
What a standard engagement includes. Anything outside this is quoted separately and agreed in writing before it is executed.
How we execute it
From enquiry to handover.
Six defined stages. You always know which one you are in and what closes it.
Site assessment
Roof or land is surveyed for area, orientation, shading and structural capacity, and a realistic generation estimate is prepared.
Design
String design, inverter selection, cable sizing and evacuation scheme finalised against your load and tariff position.
Structure
Mounting structure erected and aligned to the design tilt and azimuth with corrosion protection.
Installation
Modules mounted, strings formed, inverters installed and DC/AC cabling completed with correct protection.
Commissioning
String testing, insulation and earth checks, inverter configuration and grid synchronisation.
Handover & O&M
Generation verified against estimate, documents handed over and the O&M contract begins.
